Summer Jam Program

This 8-week program will guide students through a rigorous learning period filled with new music, new techniques, and new bandmates.

Most young musicians often consider joining or creating a band, but getting a band out of the group chat and into the practice room is harder than it looks. This program will help young musicians find their place in a band and provide them with the skills to keep doing so outside of the studio!

After filling out the interest form on our website, we will send you audition cuts/materials appropriate for your instrument.Auditions should be recorded in video format and sent to Lott Music Studio by May 20th.

Auditions will be reviewed and program participants will be contacted by DATE.

AUDITION

All prospective students will participate in an audition process prior to the summer program. For a program like this, participating students are expected to meet a certain level of proficiency on their instrument. These auditions will allow our team to place students of similar skill levels together in small “bands.”

REHEARSE

For 8 weeks, students will come together on the weekends to rehearse together under the supervision and guidance of Lott Music Studio teachers. Together, we’ll focus on refining techniques and learning the skills that are essential to group performance.

PERFORMANCE

At the end of the program, all of our students will have the opportunity to show off their skills as musicians in a show-stopping performance! This is their time to shine with their bandmates and showcase everything they learned!
