Coaching sessions at Lott Music Studio are flexible, non-recurring lessons designed to support musicians when they need focused, short-term guidance. Whether you’re preparing for an audition, recital, competition, exam, or special event—or you simply want expert feedback on a specific piece or technical challenge—coachings provide targeted support tailored to your immediate goals.
Unlike weekly lessons, coachings are designed to address specific questions and refine particular aspects of your playing or singing. In these one-on-one sessions, you’ll work closely with one of our teachers to identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot challenges, and develop clear strategies for continued progress. Coachings can be especially helpful when you’re feeling stuck, short on time, or seeking a fresh perspective.
During a coaching session, the focus may include polishing repertoire, refining technique, improving musical interpretation, or preparing for performance under pressure. Teachers may work with you on style, articulation, phrasing, tone, rhythm, expression, and stage presence, depending on your needs. You are encouraged to bring in specific pieces, excerpts, or questions so the session can be as productive and efficient as possible.
Coachings are open to musicians of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are a current student at Lott Music Studio, a returning musician, or someone seeking short-term support without ongoing lessons, coachings offer a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and gain confidence. Our goal is to help you leave each session with clarity, motivation, and practical tools you can apply immediately.
If you’re unsure whether a coaching session is right for you, we’re happy to help you decide. Reach out to discuss your goals and we’ll help you find the best option to support your musical journey.
