Sunny Olsen is a third year Music Education major at Iowa State University. Born and raised in Minnesota, she’s been a lifelong musician. Sunny started with ukulele lessons in kindergarten, and a few years later on the guitar. Once she started learning how to play the cello, it quickly became her main focus. Sunny attended multiple music camps in addition to many years of private instruction. 9 years later, she is a member of the ISU symphony orchestra, and has performed at fun locations like Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.
Sunny is especially interested in teaching beginner to intermediate cellists. She aims to teach a bit of music theory and ear training during her lessons to help her students develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of music.
