Caleb Hans Polashek is an Ames native and returns after many years away to share what he has learned with future musicians. As youth he studied violin with Julie Fox Henson and attended numerous festivals to further his abilities. He then traveled to Texas to take a place in the highly competitive studio of Brian Lewis, whom he studied with for undergrad and Master’s degrees. Following college Caleb won a position with the Austin Symphony Orchestra and earned tenure soon after. He has performed extensively in chamber and solo ventures and continues to be an active performer in these and other musical disciplines. He is pleased to join the Lott Music Studio as it brings high quality artistry and lessons to the western end of the Ames Cultural Distric.
