Kara is an enthusiastic supporter of Iowa’s local artists and musicians. Currently, she is an instructor of anthropology at Drake University and a researcher at Iowa State University. Kara has background training in concert percussion and percussion ensemble, and has been taking piano lessons under Aaron for the last year. Kara loves to play a variety of genres including classical, ambient, pop, and blues. In addition to music, Kara enjoys engaging in textile and visual art mediums.
