Caleb Weatherby is a violin and viola instructor at Lott Music Studio and throughout the Des Moines area. Caleb strives to make each student believe in their innate ability to learn music and works to nurture musical growth throughout their lessons.
Caleb’s teaching career truly began back in his junior and senior years of high school, where he would teach students from his teacher’s studio when she was unavailable. After a few years of private lessons at Iowa State, and upon a dismal graduation in 2020, Caleb decided to return to teaching private lessons and was happy to accept a position with Lott Music!
When it comes to Caleb’s musical pursuits, he can be found on stages all across Iowa performing with bands such as Hot Bunch, The Carousel, and the Mike Walsh Band. As a lover of rock, pop, country, and everything in between, Caleb believes that strings can fit in anywhere.
Outside of music, Caleb enjoys playing tabletop and video games, spending a limited time outdoors, and trying new recipes. Caleb also loves taking care of his cat roommate named Fish.
